Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? You're not alone. Here are some quick answers to the things people ask me most about my different offers, prices, and how the whole process works.
Nope, your site will not spontaneously combust. But without ongoing care your site is more exposed to slowdowns, security issues, and the risk of losing data. You would also be on your own for hosting and backups, and since I only hand over the public files you would need to handle all edits yourself.
You can cancel anytime. There are no long-term lock-ins or surprise commitments. Your plan starts with one free month on the Growth plan so you can experience all the perks. After that, you'll be billed monthly for whichever plan you choose, Essential or Growth, and you can continue for as long as it fits your needs.
Please note: Each website has a minimum build value, which is simply what your site would have cost if you had purchased it as a Launch Package from the start. I'll share that amount with you before we begin so everything is clear from day one. If you cancel before your total payments reach that amount, you would just cover the remaining balance as a one-time buyout. Once that is settled, I will hand over your public files and you will take full responsibility for the site.
My goal is to build long-term partnerships and help your business grow, but I also believe in flexibility. You are free to stay because you want to, not because you have to.You can upgrade from Essential to Growth at any time. If your business grows and you decide to switch, that means I'm doing my job right. If you decide to move down to the Essential Plan, your new rate will start on your next billing cycle. You'll still keep everything included in your current plan until that point. My goal is to keep your plan flexible while making sure your website always has the right level of care and support for your business.
Every plan includes unlimited small edits like swapping images, updating text, or adjusting content. Most clients only need a few small updates each month, and we take care of them quickly.
For larger updates such as new sections, features, or layout changes, your plan includes dedicated time each month. The Essential Plan covers up to 1 hour, and the Growth Plan includes up to 2 hours.
If you ever want to add a completely new page, it's a flat $200 per page. Both plans keep your site secure, backed up, and supported around the clock. The Essential plan includes hosting, software and security updates, monthly backups, 24/7 support, unlimited small edits, and up to 1 hour of larger updates each month. Standard turnaround time is typically 2‐3 business days.
The Growth plan gives you everything in Essential plus priority turnaround time (typically within 24 hours), up to 2 hours of larger edits each month, Google Analytics tracking, and quarterly performance reports with actionable recommendations.
Think of Essential as steady upkeep, while Growth adds data and insights to help your business expand.Every quarter I send you a Google Analytics report that is clear and easy to understand. The report highlights key takeaways and suggestions, and it also compares your current numbers to the previous quarter so you can see progress over time.
You will get insights on things like how many new users are finding your site, where your traffic is coming from, how visitors are behaving on your pages, which devices they use, how long they stay engaged, key conversion rates like form submissions, and much more. I break it down into plain language so you can focus on what matters most for your business.
It depends. The Launch Package starts at $2200. That covers a custom site with at least three pages, up to three rounds of revisions per phase, mobile and SEO optimization, a conversion-focused design, Google PageSpeed optimization, and full launch support.
The total can vary depending on what you need. Extra pages, certain third-party integrations, or add-ons like a blog ($250 one-time) or hosting ($25 per month) can adjust the final cost. During our planning phase we'll map out exactly what your site requires so you know the price upfront with no surprises.I break the project into three main phases, and you'll get up to 3 rounds of revisions in each one:
Mood board & Wireframing ‐ 3 rounds of revisions
High-Fidelity Design ‐ 3 rounds of revisions
Development ‐ 3 rounds of revisions
This setup gives you plenty of opportunities to fine-tune your website while keeping the project moving forward. If you need more than 3 rounds in any phase, additional revisions can be added at my hourly rate.
And here's my guarantee: if I can't create a design you're happy with before we begin development, you'll receive a full refund. Most websites take around 3‐4 weeks from start to finish. That said, the timeline can be shorter or longer depending on the size of your project and how quickly I receive assets, forms, and feedback from you.
No problem! If you decide you'd rather move to a Website Care Plan after purchasing a Launch Package, the amount you already paid will be applied as a credit toward your plan.
For example, let's say you paid $2200 for your website:
- If you switch to the $150/month plan, your $2200 payment would cover about 14 months before monthly billing begins.
- If you switch to the $250/month plan, that same credit would cover about 9 months before billing begins.
This way, nothing you've already invested goes to waste, it just rolls forward into ongoing support.Yes, absolutely. A blog can be added at any time for a flat rate of $250. I'll build it with a headless CMS, which means that once it's set up, you'll be able to log in, post, and manage your blog content without touching a single line of code. Everything is handled right from an easy-to-use dashboard.
Hosting is only included if you're on one of my Website Care Plans. If you go with the Standard Launch Package instead, hosting can be added for $25 per month.
Once your site goes live, I don't just disappear. You'll get a full week of tech support for small fixes, questions, or any surprise hiccups. I'll also send you step-by-step tutorial videos to help you with the hosting process and other tutorials you may need. If you'd prefer ongoing help beyond that, my Website Care Plans are designed to keep your site secure, updated, and supported long term.
It all comes down to preparation and teamwork. Before the design week even starts, I'll need you to provide all the content, images, and details up front. Once everything's in place, I can focus completely on building your site without delays.
To keep things on track, this package includes just one round of revisions per phase (moodboard/wireframe, high-fidelity design, and development). That way we can move quickly and still make sure you're happy with the final result. With your availability and feedback at the ready, your site will be polished, optimized, and launched within the week.I don't offer one-off updates or hourly work after launch. If you think you'll want to make changes down the road, the best way to stay flexible is by joining my Website Care Plan. That way you'll always have the option to update content, add new sections, or grow your site with extra pages whenever you're ready.
Hosting isn't automatically included, but I can take care of it for you at just $25 a month. That way you don't have to worry about setting up servers or dealing with tech headaches.

I require a 50% deposit to kick off any project (besides the Website Care Plan). The remaining balance is due upon launch, before your site goes live. I send invoices through Stripe. You can pay with a credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. I do not accept cash or checks.
Yes. I offer two flexible installment options. You can either do 50/50, with half upfront and the other half due before launch, or 50/25/25, with half upfront, a quarter after design is approved, and the final quarter once development is complete.
Invoices are due according to the schedule we agree on, and I send them securely through Stripe. If a payment is missed, there is a 7-day grace period to get it taken care of. After that, a 5% late fee will be applied, and work on your project or access to your site in the case of a care plan may be temporarily paused until the account is current.
I ask that you provide the content for your website so we can make sure your voice and message come through clearly. If you'd like, I can connect you with a professional copywriter for an additional fee. The same goes for images. If you'd like me to source photos or graphics for your site, that can be arranged for an extra cost.
Every site I build comes with the on-page SEO a good web developer usually handles: clean code, fast loading times, mobile optimization, and proper on-page structure. That covers the fundamentals your site needs to perform well. Advanced SEO is a long-term process, often ranging from $500 to $5,000 a month, which is beyond most small business budgets and my scope and expertise. The great part is that my sites are a gold mine for any SEO specialist later on. With the fundamentals already in place, their work can really shine, because even the best SEO can't do much if the website itself isn't built right from the start.
This is a complex topic, so if you want to learn more, check out my blog post on: SEO for Small BusinessesCRO stands for Conversion Rate Optimization, which is about turning visitors into customers. There are many ways I apply it, the most influential being conversion funnels. This means your content, images, and calls to action are arranged in a very specific order to guide someone step by step toward a sale. You cannot just toss text and pictures on a page and expect results. Every piece has a purpose. A button is placed right under a persuasive section of text. An image builds trust at the perfect moment. Headlines naturally pull someone further down the page. It is all calculated, deliberate, and crafted to make your website not just look great but actually perform. It's a science that is easily overlooked by many designers, but makes a huge difference.
WordPress is kind of like a junk drawer. It works, but it's stuffed with plugins, constant updates, and extra pieces you don't really need. Every time something breaks, you're stuck digging around to patch it. Custom code, on the other hand, is clean and streamlined. No plugins to babysit, no updates to keep up with, no databases waiting to be hacked. There's simply less to go wrong.
The result is a site that loads faster, runs smoother, and costs less to maintain over time. Plus, since it's all hand-built, your site can be shaped exactly to your business rather than squeezing into a pre-made template. Custom code is like tailoring a suit... it just fits better, lasts longer, and looks sharper.
